1. The contract
A sales contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation, whether you buy online or in-store. Prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch.
2. Payment
- Online payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- In-store purchases may be paid by cash or card and are issued a printed or PDF invoice.
- Title to the goods passes to you once payment has cleared in full.
3. Delivery & risk
Estimated dispatch and shipping times are on the Shipping page. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery (online) or at the point of sale (in-store).
4. Cancellation, returns & refunds
For distance (online) sales you have the EU 14-day right of withdrawal, and we voluntarily extend this to a 30-day window. See Refunds and Returns for how to exercise it. In-store sales follow the refund terms displayed at purchase.
5. Warranty
DotClock hardware carries a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your statutory guarantees.
6. Firmware licence (EULA)
- The firmware on your DotClock is licensed, not sold. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run it on the DotClock device you bought.
- You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially repackage the firmware, and you may not remove or obscure its notices.
- You may tinker with your own device for personal use; doing so is at your own risk and may void warranty on affected parts.
- The firmware is provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the product.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
