Refund Policy

If a DotClock isn't right for you, you have 30 days to send it back for a refund. Here's exactly how refunds work, separate from the step-by-step returns guide.

30-day money-back guarantee

You may request a refund within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. The clock should be in resellable condition — original packaging where possible, no damage beyond normal inspection.

What we refund

  • Full product price — always, for eligible returns.
  • Original shipping — refunded if the item arrived faulty, damaged, or not as described.
  • Return shipping — covered by us for faulty/incorrect items; paid by you for change-of-mind returns.

How to start a refund

  • Email with your order number.
  • We'll send a return label or address and an RMA reference.
  • Follow the returns guide to pack and ship it.

When you'll get your money

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item. Card refunds are processed by Stripe; the exact posting time depends on your bank. We'll email you when the refund is sent.

Non-refundable

  • Items returned after 30 days without a prior agreement.
  • Damage caused by misuse, disassembly, or liquid ingress.
  • Digital firmware downloads (the device firmware is free either way).

Faulty within warranty

After 30 days, a defective clock is covered by our 2-year warranty — repair or replacement rather than refund.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits your rights under EU consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales. This policy is in addition to those rights. See the Terms of Sale for the legal detail.
